Microsoft Teams support is now live in Classwise AI

Microsoft Teams is now a supported LMS path in Classwise, which means schools can keep classes, grading, and result publishing inside the system they already use every day.

Microsoft Teams is now supported in Classwise, so schools that already run coursework in Teams can keep that workflow in place instead of asking teachers to move everything to a new system.[1][3]

That means teachers can connect Teams, bring classes and rosters into Classwise, build assessments, and publish results back when they are ready.[1][3]

The goal is simple: keep students working where they already are, keep teachers in control, and let Classwise handle the repetitive grading work behind the scenes.

Why Teams support matters

For a lot of schools, Microsoft Teams is already part of the everyday classroom rhythm. Adding support for it means those schools do not have to choose between a familiar LMS and a faster grading workflow.[1]

Instead of creating a parallel process, Teams now fits into the same Classwise flow as our other supported LMS paths: connect the course, sync the data you need, and move results back into the gradebook when the work is done.[1][3]

What you can do with Teams today

Teachers can connect Microsoft Teams from the dashboard or profile, import classes and assessments, sync rosters and submissions, and publish grades back to Teams after review.[1][3]

That keeps the operational work in one place. Teachers do not need to copy rosters by hand or manually shuttle results between systems every time an assessment is ready.

What to expect from auto-grade

Teams auto-grade is not instant at the exact second a student submits. Classwise checks for new submissions on a 5-10 minute polling cycle, so grading usually starts a few minutes after the submission lands.[2]

That timing is important to call out because it sets the right expectation for teachers: the workflow is automatic, but it still depends on the next submission check before grading can begin.

What we are improving next

This launch is the start of Teams being a first-class path in Classwise, not the end of the work. We will keep smoothing out onboarding, visibility, and the little details that make the workflow feel native instead of bolted on.

The long-term aim is the same across every supported LMS: keep the classroom experience simple for students and make the grading workflow lighter for teachers.

How to get started

Start by opening Classwise AI, choosing Microsoft Teams, and connecting the account from the dashboard or profile.[1][3]

From there, import the classes you want to use, confirm your roster and submission sync, and review the grading settings before you turn on auto-grade.[1][2][3]

If you want the fastest path, use the LMS setup guide first and then skim the grading modes page so the timing and automation behavior are clear before the first assignment lands.[1][2]
